Pathao is Hiring for the position of Software Engineer (iOS) to design and implement new systems and features, as well as modify and maintain existing systems for adaptation to business and/or technology changes.
The ideal candidate for this position should be able to drive the software change and release management processes and assist with the overall maturity of the software development lifecycle and also work with cross functional teams to ensure the successful design, development and delivery of an excellent app experience for Pathao’s millions of users.
The incumbent will have the responsibility to:
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
- Design and develop complex and dynamic UI for different screen sizes
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Create applications from scratch with innovative features
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Collaborate with the team to define, design, and ship new features
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
The incumbent should bring along:
- At Least 3 years of hands on experience in iOS application development using Swift with UIKit
- Clear understanding of iOS application development life cycle
- Working experience with third-party libraries, RESTful APIs, map SDK design patterns like MVVM, MVC, and MVP
- Expertise in Application profiling & writing unit tests
- Working experience with version control repository
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- Working experience with Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
- Ability to work with agile methodologies and familiarity with JIRA and other project management standards
- Experience with Crashlytics & Analytics SDK integrations
- Knowledge about recent trends in mobile application technology
